EBC’s BSD brake discs use a special high-carbon, high-silicone “discalloy” that withstands extreme heat cycling without cracking like conventional discs, which makes them EBC’s best disc. They also feature an innovative “blade”-shaped slots that removes gases and debris off the pads better than regular uni-directional slots.
